I gave birth to our fourth child in a hospital. I could not have done it without my husband, friend, and birth partner. We decided to have a fifth child. So at the age of 47, I gave birth at home with a midwife. This life changing experience made me want to reach out and help other women have this same great empowering experience.

I became a certified childbirth instructor and a certified doula. As a woman becomes educated, a new confidence arises that makes her capable of making informed decisions when it comes to her body, her baby, and her birth. This new confidence usually leads to a positive birth experience. And a positive birth experience is something that she will carry with her the rest of her life.

I want you to have the best, safest, and most rewarding birth experience possible. Few other experiences in life compare to the joy of birth. My passion is to educate couples in childbirth so that informed parents can make responsible decisions and maximize their birth experience.
