In addition to teaching Hypnobabies I am also a midwife, and spent 10 years as a doula in the Utah birth community. I have attended over 350 births. I've helped hundreds more families through classes, placenta encapsulation, and belly binding.
Bellissimo Birth Services was created because my passion for educating mothers goes beyond chatting at a baby shower about births. I want every mom and their birth partner to know their options in birth and how best to be supported in this important life event. I also want them to know how wonderful and enjoyable birth can be! I came to know and love Hypnobabies with the birth of my second son. Because of Hypnobabies, his birth was peaceful and calm during what would have otherwise been a scary, medically necessary induction and NICU visit. After having something not go as planned and still have the calm and confidence I learned in Hypnobabies to continue on, I knew I wanted to share Hypnobabies with as many moms as I could.
As your Hypnobabies Instructor, my purpose is to support you through this journey, and provide to you the education and tools you need to have an amazing birth, no matter how you are choosing to, or end up giving birth. My classes are full of the most recent evidence-based care information and I am honored to share such valuable information with my students. I like to have fun and laugh during class while I teach; pregnancy is a joyful time in life and should be celebrated!
