I remember falling madly in love with birth. I had searched for a long time for the assurance, education, and support that I needed to birth naturally. With "Husband Coached Childbirth" in my hands, I finally had it. I felt drawn to be a doula so strongly that it kept me up at night. I wanted every mom to have that kind of support.
I didn't know that love could get any deeper, and then I found Hypnobabies. It took everything I knew, and built on it. I learned about the strength my mind and body had. I felt healing. It is no exaggeration to say that Hypnobabies transformed my views of birth.
I enjoy supporting all of my clients, regardless of their birthing style. However, there is a calmness and strength with my Hypno-Families that is undeniable. It is wonderful to have the Hypnobabies skills. It is amazing to gently press on mom's shoulder while whispering gentle cues to deepen her hypnosis and focus, and see the relaxation flow through her body. Better yet, to guide and encourage the mom and birth partner to do it themselves. I love the peace, the laughter, and the ease of my Hypnobabies clients.
