3rd Time Hypno-mom Jaclyn’s Fast Hypnobabies Birth

It was a dream birth, and though there was some discomfort as it was a precipitous birthing time (Hypnobabies term for labor), my Hypnobabies tools made it wonderful! I had been having prodromal birthing waves for a few nights before and was a little frustrated and tired.
Then Wednesday night, the waves (Hypnobabies term for contractions) started a bit earlier (around 9:30/10) and I had an inkling, so I turned on Easy First Stage (Hypnobabies main birthing day track). I listened to that for an hour and used my Peace cue (Hypnobabies cue for instant physical comfort) while pacing my living room. It became clear the waves were making dilation progress and getting stronger. By the time I notified my husband, and we made the 15-minute hospital drive, we arrived and I was definitely deep into birthing time.

By the time we were led to our room, I had a handful more very powerful birthing waves, then my body started pushing during a wave Two lighter waves gave me a nice break, and then one large wave and 3 pushes (all in one wave) and she was out! Her water broke as my body was pushing. Total birthing time was only a couple of hours! Thank you Hypnobabies for making birthing time wonderful!
