In addition to being a trained Hypno-Doula, I am a certified birth doula through DONA International. I am also a member of the Colorado Doulas Association.
My birth doula services include our interview; two prenatal visits; the birth itself; a 24 hour visit; and a postpartum visit 5-7 days after the birth. I am always available by phone or email to answer my clients' questions before and after the birth.
My entire package costs $700. My fee is fairly low compared to other doulas in Denver because I am still gaining experience. (Please also see the "Partners" page in my web site for a package deals.) I currently offer a $100 discount to families who deliver at a freestanding birth center or at home.
I am trained as a Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula, and have the joy of helping women acheive successful Hypnobirths. I myself used parts of The Mongan Method Hynobirthing for my first birth, and will probably incorporate both this method and Hynobabies for my second birth. I believe in Hynobirthing because I feel that it is especially important to acknowledge and work with the mind-body connection in an emotionally charged life event such as a birth.
