In addition to teaching Hypnobabies classes, I am also a birth and postpartum doula and student of lactation at Portland State University. I plan to sit for the IBLCE (International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners) exam in the Fall of 2019, and upon passing I will soon offer lactation services. In addition, I volunteer my time as a Peer Counselor and Education Coordinator with The Nursing Mother’s Counsel of Oregon, a local non-profit providing breastfeeding support to moms; and as Peer Counselor and Support Group Facilitator with Baby Blues Connection, providing support to families coping with pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders in the Portland-metro area.
My Hypnobaby Violet was born in December 2015. After my experience, I knew I wanted to bring this amazing childbirth education series to other expecting families. I am so excited to be the only practicing Hypnobabies Instructor in the Portland-metro area!
