As well as being a Hypnobabies Hypnodoula, I specialize in documentary birth photography. I am a member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers (IAPBP). I am also a member of the Doulas of Rhode Island (DoRI). I run the RI chapter of Birth Talk a free prenatal support circle for moms and partners hoping to have a low intervention birth in a hospital. We also have a post partum moms circle for after baby comes. All are free to the public.
I'm a naturally optimistic person that thrives in stressful situations, and when not regularly sleep deprived by two small children, one who tries to find the humor (or sarcasm) in life and birth. There are a million decisions to be made when planning a pregnancy, birth, and for parenthood. My goal is to educate families on their options and choices, build a new family's confidence, empower new parents find their voices, and support partners to support new mothers throughout their birth and postpartum. I love how Hypnobabies gives moms and partners a positive birth experience and a great start at parenting. I've seen and highly believe in the immense difference, especially for first time moms, in using Hypnobabies to help them remain relaxed, rested and empowered while birthing.
