I am a certified birth doula, Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula, childbirth educator , certified breastfeeding counselor, local ICAN chapter leader, and mother of three kids. I live in Manhattan in UWS and I provide doula services and teach childbirth education classes in Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. I attended the SpinningBabies workshop where I learned advanced techniques in Optimal Fetal Positioning. I also had Rebozo training with Gena Kirby where I learned special techniques for comfort and positioning as used in the Mexican tradition for generations. I also attended the Integrative Resuscitation of the Newborn class with Karen Strange. I received training in Acupressure for Labor and Birth with Nicholas Olow. I am currently enrolled in the Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology Certification Program with the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health. Most of all, I learn something new with every birth I support.
As a Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula, I have been honored to attend births that went significantly more smoothly than others. I have a deep respect and enthusiasm for the Hypnobabies program, I find it incredibly powerful and beneficial for birthing moms. I am always happy to hear about moms who are choosing this method of childbirth preparation and I highly recommend it to everyone.
