In addition to teaching Hypnobabies classes, I am also a DONA trained doula and placenta encapsulator. Working with expectant families is one of the greatest honors I've ever experienced, and I'm so thrilled to be able to share such a remarkable program with them!
I walked into my first Hypnobabies class, not as an expectant mother, but as a doula, eager to learn everything I could about birth. I remember very clearly, being slightly skeptical of the idea of hypnosis for childbirth. But, by the end of class one I was a firm believer! As a mother of six myself, I had never seen anything like Hynobabies, and wanted so much to see it in action. It wasn't long before I was attending Hypnobabies births as a doula. What I saw in the families I worked with, was unlike anything I had experience in birth before. These families were calm and present for the birth of their babies. They were informed and empowered. And as a doula, I was beyond thrilled. A year after my first Hypnobabies class, I decided that I NEEDED to begin teaching, so that I could share this amazing program with as many families as possible.
