Hi! I’m Becky! My interest in birth truly began with the birth of my first child in 2001, and continued to grow stronger with the births of my next 4 children. I officially became a doula in January 2015 when it became obvious that I needed to use all of my long-term passion productively! Since that time I have attended many births, of all kinds, and have become a Certified Birth Doula through Dona International. In 2018 I furthered my education by attended training to become a Hypnobabies® Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor (and Hypnodoula). There is nothing that excites me more than helping women achieve their desired birth experience! One of my greatest passions is helping women discover the true natural design of their bodies as well as the birth intuition that has been there all along. "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." ~Psalm 139: 13-14a

One of the motivations for me as I support couples in their birth experience is the knowledge that the more satisfied a woman is with her birth experience, the higher her confidence as a mother. The more empowered and educated a couple become about their birth, the better, for the beginning of their parenting journey. My absolute favorite births end with dad high-fiving me because of the feeling of teamwork in supporting his partner.

Outside of serving as a doula, my husband and I homeschool our children, focusing on helping them find their passion in life. I also enjoy reading, cooking, sewing, and some good sci-fi!
