Ashley is a Certified Birth Doula (DONA), a Hypnobabies® Childbirth Hypnosis Doula, a Lamaze Certification Exam Candidate, and an East Alabama Medical Center Breastfeeding Counselor. Ashley is the co-founder and leader of the East Alabama Birth Village.

Ashley enjoys companioning hypno-moms through their pregnancy and birth. She had a Hypnobabies VBAC with her second child, and she is thrilled when her clients choose to use hypnosis as their main comfort tool in birth. Ashley knows when a mother uses hypnosis, the birth will be shorter and easier. Her most recent hypno-client literally experienced complete numbness from her fundus to the tops of her thighs. It was an amazing thing to witness.

Ashley is committed to comforting and supporting mothers and their partners and helping them to begin their relationship with their newborn in the most satisfying and healthiest way possible. Ashley believes that when a mother is a steward of her pregnancy and birth, she finds surprising strength within her, no matter what path her birthing takes.
