Alicia Ann’s Hypnobabies Hospital Birth
“When we got down to the birthing room, I swayed on a birthing ball listening to the Deepening (Hypnobabies hypnosis track to deepen level of hypnosis) track.”
Hypnobabies® – Natural Childbirth at its best!
I had my hypno-baby January 4th 2019 @6:51am. I was 35 weeks and some days. I had been having inconsistent birthing waves (Hypnobabies word for contraction) for a few days but knew my birthing time (Hypnobabies word for labor) was very close. At 2 am on January 4th I was woken up by birthing waves, I started doing a Fear Clearing (Hypnobabies hypnosis track to release fears) and using my hypnosis techniques to stay calm.
At 3 am I had drifted into deep hypnosis and was woken from it with my waters releasing. I woke my husband and called the babysitter immediately as my last birthing was 2.5 hours from consistent waves/waters releasing. My husband got everything ready while I stepped in the shower still using my hypnosis techniques to stay calm.
After washing up I got into the car and started the Easy First Stage (Hypnobabies main birthing time hypnosis track) track as we made our way to the hospital. We got to the hospital with me being a solid 5 cm at 4:45 am. When we got down to the birthing room, I swayed on a birthing ball listening to the Deepening (Hypnobabies hypnosis track to deepen level of hypnosis) track.
It got intense very quickly, but I was mostly relaxed and calm through each wave. At 6:30 am I started feeling pushing waves at which point I requested iv pain management to take the edge off of the pressure while we waited for the OB to arrive. I pressed play on my Pushing Baby Out (Hypnobabies hypnosis track just for pushing) track at 6:45 am as the OB came to the room and in 2 pushing waves was holding my newest addition. I was so ecstatic! She came out 5lbs 9oz, 17.25inches long, and 33cm head. Hypnobabies made my birthing time, even though earlier than expected, comfortable and calm 🙂
