This dream becomes more of a reality every day as more and more women use the incredible power of their minds and hearts to help them achieve their spiritual birthing. They go within, where all the answers lie, meet and bond with their precious babies long before birth, and grow amazingly in strength, confidence and trust in nature's most perfect plan;
that they have always intuitively known how to give birth.

Our Hypnobabies program has become so successful that we are now training Childbirth Educators, Doulas, Midwives and Hypnotherapists to become Hypnobabies Instructors. If you have the passion and love of working with expectant couples, and want to provide them with an excellent and very successful childbirth hypnosis program, contact us at (714) 952-BABY (2229) for more information. Unlike other childbirth hypnosis programs, Hypnobabies is a complete childbirth education course, and cannot be taught along with another childbirth or hypno-birth program, used to "supplement" one, or "added to" hypnotherapy sessions. Hypnobabies is always taught in 6 (3 hour) classes using only our extremely comprehensive Hypnobabies materials. The results are amazing!

(Please note: There will be no Hypnobabies Instructor Trainings in 2010. We are taking off a year of holding trainings to write books, expand our services and travel to speaking engagements. We will begin accepting training applications and interviews for our 2011 Hypnobabies Instructor Trainings in July of 2010.)
Our Hypnobabies Instructor Training is a 4 day course, and each participant will have a background in both childbirth and hypnosis, and a love of working with expectant families. The cost for our training course is $645.00 per person, which includes all course materials. Course fees can be paid by PayPal, Credit Card, Personal Check or a Monthly Payment Plan. There is a Required Reading list, (books not included with course fee) which will be sent to you after you apply to our program. Each Prospective trainee will have an interview with our Program Coordinator to see if Hypnobabies is a good fit for you before sending an application.
A background in hypnosis means 50 hours of study from a reputable school of hypnosis, and our participants need only get basic hypnosis training. *Hypnotherapy Certification is not required.* If you cannot take a local hypnosis course or would like self-study options, Hypnobabies has an affordable self-study Introduction to Hypnosis Course by Roy Hunter that can be ordered for $190.00. Considering that most hypnosis courses cost between $700 and $3500, we feel ours is excellent and contains what is needed to complete the Hypnobabies hypnosis requirements for much less out of pocket expense and working at your own pace. A background in childbirth means doula, childbirth, midwifery or nursing training. For those without a background in Childbirth, our one day Introduction to Childbirth Class is mandatory and is scheduled on the day before each Hypnobabies Instructor Training. This class costs $100.00 and consists of invaluable information on pregnancy and childbirth, taught through videos and a resource workbook.
As a Prospective Hypnobabies Instructor, you'll have a telephone interview with me, to see where your heart is, what your professional background has been, and to make sure all of your training questions are answered. I want to make sure that Hypnobabies fulfills your expectations for becoming a hypnotic childbirth educator, is a good fit for you, and that you'll be an asset to your community as well as our dedicated Hypnobabies team! After our Interview, if you've been accepted into our Training Program, you'll be sent an application, and you'll be on your Hypnobabies journey, working towards a beautiful future with expectant couples, a process we all love so much here at Hypnobabies.
In our Hypnobabies Instructor Training Program, you will be both student and teacher as you easily learn Hypnobabies... class by class, participating fully in all facets of your training. You will feel completely confident at the end of your training that you are qualified to successfully teach Hypnobabies and able to promote and market your classes as well. Our 200 page Instructor's Manual is so detailed that our course teaches itself, and you will be provided with all Hypnobabies materials that you need to easily begin your journey as a Hypnobabies Instructor.
After training, each Hypnobabies Instructor will send in their Final Exam before becoming certified as a Hypnobabies Instructor, and all class materials for future Hypnobabies students will be ordered from Hypnobabies Network. All Hypnobabies Instructors will then join our online Instructor' support group, where we have files full of free Hypnobabies documents and forms, fliers, marketing, advertising and promotional resources of all kinds, as well as answers to frequently asked questions and direct responses to inquiries from the leaders of Hypnobabies and other instructors. This helps you to get started teaching Hypnobabies very easily while networking and learning from others. Our Instructor's e-mail group is very positive and supportive; a sisterhood of women who love helping young couples have the birth of their dreams. Newbies welcome; bring your ideas to share!

Want to learn more about Hypnosis for Childbirth? We have two workbooks available for professionals: Our Introduction to Childbirth Hypnosis for the Professional workbook, (geared towards hypnotherapists) and our Hypno-Doula Workbook (for midwives and doulas).
How is Hypnobabies different from other Childbirth Hypnosis programs?
In Hypnobabies, our objectives are: to help our pregnant couples bond with their baby in utero, teach them how to stay healthy and low-risk and be an excellent consumer, trust in their bodies, minds and babies, and become self-reliant and confident about birthing their way; unmedicated, safely and in comfort. We overcome negative belief systems and programming, get them in touch with their own bodies, help them guide themselves through their own excellent birth experience and give them skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.
We are not a regular birth hypnosis class! Hypnobabies is very detailed and successful, uses medical hypnotic anesthesia techniques, from Master Hypnotist Gerald Kein's amazing Painless Childbirth Program, as opposed to simple visualization and imagery, and contains the same kinds of hypnotic scripts used by people who undergo surgery with hypnosis as their only anesthetic. We also *fully* train our Birth Partners by giving them their own Birth Partner's hypnosis CD, and their own detailed Birth Partner's Guide Booklet for labor, which allows them to fully grasp their role in the preparation for baby's birth as well as many tools for assisting our Hypno-mom during her birthing. This is unique to Hypnobabies and we are very proud of this feature since it is so beneficial to our Hypno-moms and dads.
Hypnobabies classes also provide excellent and *complete* childbirth education, lacking in most birth hypnosis programs. Providing this *complete childbirth education* ensures that our wonderful students will not have to take other natural childbirth classes whose philosophy is so different that it negates what they have learned in Hypnobabies. "Pain management and coping skills" are actually opposite of what is learned in Hypnobabies; we teach Pain Elimination by using real step-by-step hypno-anesthesia that works so well women can use it for internal exams, IV/hep-lock insertion if needed, perineal massage, crowning, sciatica and much more. Since we use real medical hypnotic techniques, addressing the mind, body, and spirit of both mother and baby, our success rate is wonderful.
Long before they ever step foot in their first Hypnobabies class, our Hypno-moms get to meet their baby and bond with him/her by listening to a CD called Your Special Place, and the second track is Comfortable Childbirth, which helps teach them how childbirth can easily be so comfortable, right from the very first contraction. (Deprogramming them from the usual childbirth horror stories, and written by Gerald Kein.) They go on to easily learn our Hypnobabies Techniques in class, bringing their Birth Partner into the preparation, and also how to use hypnosis for many other things: nausea elimination, back and hip pain, insomnia, pre-term labor, pre-term bleeding, perineal massage, internal exams, turning a breech, etc.
One main difference is that our Hypnobabies students participate in a hypnosis script each week in class and then have that *same script to work with* for reinforcement during the next week, which makes a huge difference when programming the inner mind for success. It is called "compounding" in the world of hypnosis, is necessary for hypnotic suggestions to be retained by the woman's subconscious, and many other birth hypnosis programs do not have it.
In addition, Hypnobabies requires that their Certified Instructors have a trained background in both Childbirth and Hypnosis before becoming trained in Hypnobabies, so that all childbirth questions and concerns from each Hypno-couple can be addressed, hypnotic depth can be assessed, and problems such as resistance and abreaction can easily be dealt with. Our Certified Hypnobabies Instructors have each had an in-depth interview with me before being accepted into our Hypnobabies Instructor Training Program, to make sure that she will be an asset to her community and our Hypnobabies team, and that teaching Hypnobabies is right for her. In short, she must be a "Birth Junkie", dedicated to providing excellent support and education to her future students and women in general, as well as working towards positive change for childbirth in her own community.
Hypnobabies also has "Eyes Open Childbirth Hypnosis", which allows our Hypno-moms to easily walk and talk and move around freely in labor, while still deeply in hypnosis, and remain very relaxed, fully present, aware and in touch with her body and baby and *completely comfortable while doing so*. Other programs rely on complete immobility for focus and concentration.
We also do Birthing Rehearsals in class #6 so that our Hypno-moms can experience using their Hypnobabies techniques while in hypnosis in class, which is invaluable, and also shows the Birth Partner hands-on exactly how to use his/her cues and assistance. What a confidence builder!
In our Hypnobabies Birth Visualization exercise, our Hypno-couples enjoy mentally entering labor, practicing their comfortable birthing techniques and giving birth easily and in a very detailed and personal way. This "mental birthing rehearsal" is very important to the process of easy and comfortable birthing and is done many times until their Hypno-baby is born, helping program the subconscious mind to produce exactly what the couple wants. Athletes and public speakers of all kinds do this to prepare for their own "Big Day" with great success, and so do our Hypno-moms!
Our students also never have to guess how to make a cohesive *plan for birthing* using their Hypnobabies techniques; it is very clear and concise and includes a Quick Reference Booklet for each birthing couple to use during their labor, as well as a Birth Guide CD which keeps our Hypno-mom deeply in hypnosis with constant hypnotic relaxation, deepening and hypno-anesthesia suggestions. Our students tell us this is "Pure Gold!"
Our Hypnobabies Instructors are always available for help before, during and after the Hypno-baby is born, and we also have a free Hypnobabies Yahoo e-mail group for our Hypno-moms to join for support and encouragement, so that they can enjoy a community where others are using hypnosis for childbirth as well. We have daily tips and advice, additional free hypnosis scripts, FAQ's, childbirth hypnosis birth stories and a great deal of camaraderie and help for each Hypno-mom.
Other programs have shorter and simpler childbirth hypnosis classes (8 - 12 hours of instruction as opposed to our 18) and may contain some excellent hypno-tools for birthing, but none contain the amount of information and support of Hypnobabies. All elements have been carefully designed to work together and the results are amazing even to *me.* Not all of our Hypno-moms will have a completely pain-free birthing, yet for most it will be very close to it, and this makes all the difference in the world to so many women. Pregnancy can naturally be so much easier and more fun by using Hypnobabies, and childbirth will be looked forward to and enjoyed. Our Hypnobabies students give themselves and their babies this wonderful gift...and the effects last for a lifetime.
